Intern Capstone Project
An inaugural component of the Twins Internship Program, our 2019 Twintern class was divided into five groups and assigned one of five topics stemming directly from the organizational strategic plan. We were then given three months before presenting our projects in front of an executive panel, featuring:
My group was assigned the topic of PEOPLE - Build Recruitment Channels & Enhance Staff Diversity, to which we focused in on how to create a recruitment network throughout Twins Territory and beyond. As co-captain for my team, I had an integral part in fostering the success of our group, including communication on progress, leading weekly group meetings, creating presentation slides and overseeing presentation content and flow.
On August 28, 2019, we presented a strongly structured plan on how to achieve our play call: Increase Inclusion to Ignite Innovation. I am pleased to say that we were awarded the 1st Place recognition for this inaugural capstone project!

Miscellaneous
As with every internship position, the "other duties as assigned" statement holds strong and true for my experience with the Twins. Even though they come in as "assigned", they all still hold an element of FUN as the Twins Tradition dictates.
